Greetings!
In this issue we are proud to bring you our recent interview with Janet Yale of TELUS, as well as a few interesting and timely grant opportunities that we've come across. And we are delighted to highlight new Bloom client Fulbright Canada...the organization that administers the Canada-US component of the world's most prestigious academic exchange program.
TELUS is a leading corporate benefactor that has established a vibrant internal culture of philanthropy company-wide. In the interview with Janet (below), we drill down to learn about what types of causes TELUS invests in, and how charities can prepare themselves to make successful applications for support to the company. For organizations interested in approaching TELUS for support, its a "must read."

TELUS has managed to ingrain a culture of philanthropy throughout the
company.
I interviewed Janet earlier this week and found her remarkably forthcoming
about how TELUS has implemented a democratic and decentralized
approach to corporate philanthropy. She also opened up about what charities need to know to be successful in requesting support from TELUS,
and how they should go about applying. ...read more |
